A versatile tool for recording and editing audio from any source. You can set it to record for a specific time or pause after silence. The intuitive editor helps you create tracks and find the start and end points easily. You can also add album and artist information which will be sent to iTunes along with the tracks. Choose from various compressors to send your tracks to iTunes in the format you prefer.

Analogue Ripper lets you record sound from any source, edit the recording into tracks and send the tracks to iTunes.
The recorder can be set to record for a fixed time, or to pause or terminate after a period of silence - at the end of one side of a record or tape.
The editor displays the recording in an easily understood way, and the track hunter feature can find the starts and ends of tracks.

I would have given it 5 stars, but it hasn't been updated and optimized for the mountain OS versions so it's a bit glitchy sometimes.
