From the developer:
Use Channel Mapper to create a new image from the red, green, blue, alpha, grayscale channels of a source image.
When creating the new image you can choose which source channel is mapped destination channel.
So you can use the source images red channel as the blue channel in the new image.
You can also use it to create an image with only on of the sources channels; for example an image only containing the sources alpha channel.
You may want to check out more software for Mac, such as XML SIte Mapper, Joystick Mapper or Smithsonian Channel, which might be similar to Channel Mapper.
