Software designed for qualitative analysis of tree sets. It employs Bayesian hierarchical clustering techniques, useful for phylogenetic studies, linguistic analysis, and various clustering tasks like in marketing and political science. By utilizing MCMC sampling, the app generates numerous trees to represent the diverse hierarchy possibilities.
DensiTree 2.7.6 for Mac could be downloaded from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available.

DensiTree is a program for qualitative analysis of sets of trees. Bayesian hierarchical clustering methods provide a powerful tool for phylogenetic analysis, linguistic research, and hierarchical clustering in general, such as applied in marketing, political science, customer preference grouping, etc. Bayesian methods use MCMC sampling, which results in a large number of trees representing the distribution over all possible hierarchies.
