Drumatix 232
Description
A free, easy-to-use Roland-style drum machine for Mac users. It features a 16 step sequencer and customizable programming without any cheesy presets. It uses samples from Roland TR series, Linndrum, and the amen loop, giving you classic sounds to work with. You can control it with a keyboard for faster music creation. Say goodbye to slow, overcomplicated drum machines.
Downloading Drumatix 232 2.5 for Mac from the developer's website was possible when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus. The actual developer of this free Mac application is Halcyon Digital Research. Drumatix 232 for Mac lies within Audio & Video Tools, more precisely Music Production.
From the developer:
Drumatix is the only freeware, Roland style drum machine for the Macintosh! It is very simple to use and sports a 16 step sequencer. It's fully programmable and doesn't come with cheesy presets, best thing is that it's free!
So why are we giving away a drum machine? Easy: because there's only two free ones out there and they're either very slow, overcomplicated or they use those horrific MIDI drum sounds that everyone hates! Enough is enough!
You may want to check out more Mac applications, such as TermulatorX, AVR Tools or Axis Camera Viewer, which might be similar to Drumatix 232.
