From the developer:

Fullscreen Movie Player allows you to play movies in QuickTIme that fill the entire screen, preventing you from paying money to Apple for QuickTIme Pro. Therefore, all you need to do is drop a movie on the application icon or use the Open command from the menu. You can press the "Esc" key at any time to quit the player or use QuickTime's movie controller to navigate through the movie.

You may want to check out more Mac applications, such as Wide Screen Movie Player, Desktop Movie Player or Mc Loud - Streaming music and movie player for Dropbox and Local or Network Files NAS, which might be related to Fullscreen Movie Player.
