Download of GEM 04.0 for Mac was available from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. The actual developer of this free Mac application is shigeyuki.

GEM (Graphics Environment for Multimedia) for Max/MS (now we call "gem4max") is a port of pd/GEM for Cycling'74's Max / MSP.
This software enable Max to render interactive 3D graphics using OpenGL.
What's new:
Change all GEM externals into Mach-O objects (.mxo);
Support for Intel Mac (built externals as universal binaries);
Fixed a bug of an external gem.pix_mean_color - corrected the order of outlets.
