Description
A convenient tool for creating HDR photos from a single JPEG or RAW image. Perfect for situations where you can't take multiple exposures or set up a tripod. Simply drag your photo into the window or use the "Add Photos" button to get started. Adjust the "Strength" slider to achieve a stunning result in seconds. It's easy to create fake HDR or tone mapped photos.
HDRtist 2.2.4 for Mac was available to download from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. This free Mac application was originally created by Ohanaware Co., Ltd.
The default filename for the program's installer is hdrtist.zip. This application's bundle is identified as com.ohanaware.HDRtist. The software lies within Design & Photo Tools, more precisely Viewers & Editors. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus. HDRtist works fine with Mac OS X 10.5.0 or later. The most popular versions among the application users are 1.3 and 1.2.
From the developer:
Sometimes the situation just doesn't allow you to take multiple exposures, don't have time to set-up the tripod, or the wind's too strong, or there's too much movement. No worries, simply take a single JPEG or RAW and let HDRtist work it's magic on your photo. This is sometimes known as simply tone mapping a photo or creating a fake HDR, or just FHDR.
Getting your exposures or photos into HDRtist, is a breeze.
