HanzConvert 2.4.2 for Mac was available to download from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. The application is included in Developer Tools.
This free software for Mac OS X was originally designed by Galaworks Studio. The following version: 2.2 is the most frequently downloaded one by the program users. This free program is compatible with Mac OS X 10.6 or later. Please check the Mac app with an antivirus before launch as it is downloaded from the developer's website, and we cannot ensure that it is safe.

HanzConvert is a utility to convert Chinese text files between UTF-8, GB18030 and BIG-5 encodings. It can detect encoding of input files automatically, and it's also support simplified or traditional output characters with output encodings of UTF-8 and GB18030. The simplified and traditional characters converting algorithm is based on words rather than characters, so it's more accurate.
