Hearing Aid
Description
The tool amplifies the sounds in your environment to enhance your hearing ability. It is suitable for individuals who struggle to hear clearly and prefer not to wear headphones. The device uses a microphone to capture sounds, an application to adjust the volume and reduce background noise, and headphones to deliver amplified sound directly to your ears.
Hearing Aid 1.7 for Mac was available to download from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. The actual developer of this free Mac application is Denk Alexandru. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus.
From the developer:
Hearing Aid is designed to improve your hearing by amplifying the sounds around you. You can use it if you have trouble perceiving your surroundings or when you feel uncomfortable wearing headphones and not knowing what is happening around. The microphone picks up the sound around you, the application boosts the volume and reduces the noise, then your headphones sends these amplified sounds to your ear.
