Herp Derp
Description
Hate YouTube comments? This browser extension converts them all to "herp derp." If you really want to see the original comments, you can click on them. The solution supports HTTPS, Firefox, and Feather Mode. In this version, Firefox no longer has issues with single comments.
Download of Herp Derp 1.4 for Mac was available from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus. This free Mac app was originally produced by Tanner Stokes. The application belongs to Internet & Network Tools.
From the developer:
I loathe YouTube comments. Here's a simple browser extension to convert them to 'herp derp'. If you insist on reading the original (which is highly discouraged), click the comment.
What's new in this version:
- When loaded via HTTP Secure (HTTPS) Herp Derp now works (thanks for reminding me @Funshine__Bear)
- Firefox no longer freaks out when there is only one comment
- YouTube Feather Mode is now supported (thanks @_sjs)
You may want to check out more software for Mac, such as Portable Cyberduck, WebNative-Browser or WebCopier Mobile, which might be similar to Herp Derp.
Add-on support
You can get add-ons that download files/video from arbitrary websites.
