Horos
Work with imaging databases in the open-source viewer and manager by opening and processing selected files. The suite supports direct upload or opening links from other storages. Data export is done by saving the managed and edited content to DICOM files or folders, JPEG or TIFF.
Downloading Horos 4.0 for Mac from the developer's website was possible when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. This free software for Mac OS X is a product of Horos Project.
Horos for Mac lies within Design & Photo Tools, more precisely Viewers & Editors. According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software.

Horos is a free, open source medical image viewer. The goal of the Horos project is to develop a fully functional, 64-bit medical image viewer for OS X. This application is based upon OsiriX, as well as on other open source medical imaging libraries.
