Mac Disk Explorer
Description
Scan all your drives on your Mac, including network drives, to locate large files, folders with many smaller files, and deeply nested folders. The tool can identify disk-consuming applications and other file collections that are difficult to find through traditional methods. Manage and optimize your disk space.
Download of Mac Disk Explorer 1.0 was available from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. The program lies within Theming Tools, more precisely Multiple Desktops. This software for Mac OS X was originally developed by RightBrain Software. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus.
From the developer:
Mac Disk Explorer ingeniously searches all of your mounted drives (including network drives), looking for large files, folders that may have many smaller files, or even folders nested several levels deep. It will find disk-hogging applications and other collections of files that there is no other easy way to locate.
You may want to check out more Mac applications, such as Advanced Disk Explorer, Disk Cartography or Disk Doctors Photo Recovery, which might be similar to Mac Disk Explorer.
