Description
The 3.4.6 version of Mail Unread Menu for Mac was available to download on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. Mail Unread Menu was developed to work on Mac OS X 10.7 or later.
Mailunreadmenu_3.4.2.zip and MailUnreadMenu_3.2.4.zip are the most common filenames for this application's installer. According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software.
The most popular versions of the software are 3.4 and 3.2. The actual developer of this free Mac application is Logan Rockmore Design. The application lies within Communication Tools, more precisely E-mail. The bundle identifier for this app is com.loganrockmore.MailUnreadMenu.
From the developer:
Mail Unread Menu is a simple menubar application which can provide you with a quick and easy way to see how many unread email messages are in Apple's Mail. Unlike other menubar notification applications, Mail Unread Menu is actually a plugin for Mail.app, which means that the count is instantaneously updated whenever you recieve new email or change the status of a message.
You may want to check out more Mac applications, such as MailUnreadStatusBar, Mail.Ru Agent or Mail Backup X, which might be similar to Mail Unread Menu.
