MapTool is a free application that allows you to create detailed maps. MapTool includes Initiative, Chat, and Token Management functions that are easy, intuitive, and fully integrated into the product. The Chat Window supports HTML syntax and includes a feature-rich dice parser.
You may want to check out more Mac applications, such as Rawr or zeroWii, which might be similar to MapTool.
