Description
PictureArea 1.1 for Mac was available to download from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. This free software for Mac OS X was originally created by Matthias Rudolph.
The following version: 1.1 is the most frequently downloaded one by the program users. Please check the Mac app with an antivirus before launch as it is downloaded from the developer's website, and we cannot ensure that it is safe. The application relates to Design & Photo Tools. This free program was developed to work on Mac OS X 10.7 or later.
From the developer:
Free appplication that calculates the area of a picture. The backgroud will be recognised on hand of the alpha channel. The threshold of the alpha channel (opacity) can be modified. It does not matter in which unit you have entered the picture width. The result will be the square of the used unit.
PictureArea supports all native OS X picture formats like PNG, PSD and TIFF. Pictures w/o an alpha channel can not be calculated.
