PseudoAnacron
Description
Unlike other utilities, this one only runs at login, checking for any skipped tasks and launching them if necessary. This efficient approach minimizes CPU usage, making it a useful addition to your system without wasting resources. Download the Universal Binary version to keep your Mac running smoothly.

From the developer:
OS X does some periodic maintenance tasks at specific times. There are daily, weekly, and monthly periodic tasks that are launched in the middle of the night. If your Mac is not powered up 24 hours a day, probably some (or all) of those tasks are never (or seldom) performed.
You may want to check out more Mac applications, such as WinShortcutter, Mac Pilot or AppTrap, which might be similar to PseudoAnacron.
