RBVersioner is a tool to manage REALbasic "rbx" style plugins. The rbx format for plugins is a cross platform plugin format. There are many advantages to the rbx format, but version control is not one of them. In the design of the rbx format, REAL Software did not define a convention for representing the version numbers of plugins. With the old style plugins you could get the version number from the Finder.
