Speedshifter
Description
Adjust the speed of audio tracks without changing the pitch. Slow down or speed up any CD or MP3 track to practice at your own pace. It automatically sets the dial to the correct tempo for ABRSM minus one tracks. Use it in lessons or during solo practice sessions to play along with accompaniment at a reduced speed. It maintains the original tempo fluctuations, making it a more musical option for slow practice compared to a metronome.

From the developer:
Speedshifter is a practice tool from ABRSM that allows you to vary the speed of audio from CD or MP3 without altering the pitch.
Simply load a track and turn the dial to slow it down or speed it up - the pitch remains the same. If you load an ABRSM minus one track Speedshifter will know the starting tempo of the track and position the dial automatically at the correct point on the tempo/BPM ring.
