Sadly the Stereomerger website has been taken down. This is a shame because in my opinion it is by far the best 3D software available, even today 20 November 2020. It hadn't been updated for a decade or more (version 1.177, circa Sept 2009, I think) and, as far as the MacOS version is concerned, you now need to run it from a bootable copy of MacOS 10.14 (Mojave) on an external boot drive. Although Stereomerger is 64 bit, it nevertheless won't work with Catalina or later.

You also need Legacy Java SE 6 for MacOSX (which has also seems to have been deprecated by Apple).

It won't harm to try the Stereomerger website on 'The WayBack Machine' if you want this software. Someone on the Apple Discussions support site may be able to let you have the Legacy Java SE 6 .dmg.

Sadly I don't know what has happened to the author, Geir Øyvind Vælidalo.
