Download of AutoStarX 1.4.1 for Mac was available from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. This free Mac app is an intellectual property of Rti-zone. The AutoStarX installer is commonly called AutoStarX_1.4.1.zip.
Please check the Mac app with an antivirus before launch as it is downloaded from the developer's website, and we cannot ensure that it is safe. The following version: 1.4 was the most frequently downloaded one by the program users. The application lies within System Tools, more precisely Device Assistants.

AutoStarX allows you to upgrade the flashrom of your Autostar on Mac OS X (495 and 497 only for now).
You need a USB to serial adapter (keyspan, ftdi,...) and of course a Meade 505 serial cable (or a home made one).
