Cacophony is a sound editor for Mac OS X. It has a number of unique features which set it apart from other similar programs for Mac. Over twenty different file formats are supported with read and write support, and a number of additional formats can be read in. Cacophony uses SoX to provide effects and file conversion. In addition, support for multiple tracks is included. Up to sixteen channels are available in the present release.
