Bring back the font smoothing controls that were removed in macOS Big Sur. In older versions of macOS, you could adjust font smoothing from the System Preferences app, but this feature is no longer available in Big Sur. With this small app, you can easily choose your preferred level of font smoothing or disable it completely.

Font Smoothing Adjuster allows you to re-enable the font smoothing controls removed in macOS Big Sur. On previous releases of macOS, you could disable font smoothing from the General pane of the System Preferences app, but this option has been removed from macOS Big Sur. This tiny app lets you easily choose what level of font smoothing you would like, or disable it altogether.
