Description

Download of Geotagger 2.0 for Mac was on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available.

According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software. This free Mac application was originally developed by Craig Stanton. The bundle identifier for this app is nz.net.stanton.craig. The most popular version of the tool is 2.0. Geotagger2.00.zip is the most common filename for this application's installer. The application is included in Design & Photo Tools.

From the developer:

Geotagger 2.0 is a droplet for inserting GPS coordinates into your photos.

Simply position Google Earth (version 4+ only) over the location you wish to insert into your images, then drag your images (jpegs only) onto the Geotagger icon. Once the images are tagged the information stays with them so you can import them to iPhoto, upload them to Flickr or Panoramio or any number of other things.

You can drag images from pretty much anywhere.

You may want to check out more software for Mac, such as 3D Image Commander, UnCoverIt or TurboCAD Mac Designer, which might be related to Geotagger.
