The 1.10.5 version of Gmail Notifier for Mac was available to download on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. This free Mac application was originally produced by Google. The program relates to Communication Tools. According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software.
From the developer:
The Gmail Notifier is a downloadable application that alerts you when you have new Gmail messages. It displays an icon in your system tray to let you know if you have unread Gmail messages, and shows you their subjects, senders and snippets, all without your having to open a web browser. When you install the Notifier, you will be able to automatically check for new messages every two minutes.
You may want to check out more software for Mac, such as Notifier Pro for Gmail, App for Gmail or Gmail+Growl Utility, which might be similar to Gmail Notifier.
