The 1.5 version of Hide Images for Mac was available to download on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus. The actual developer of this free Mac application is Giancarlo Erra. Hide Images for Mac is included in Internet & Network Tools.
From the developer:
Hide Images is a free browser extension that allows you to hide images, backgrounds, visuals, flash elements, ads, iframes etc. on any page with 1 click for increased privacy and readability. It works with all websites, affects only the current tab/page, and does not affect the general browser settings.
You may want to check out more software for Mac, such as Magic Hider Lite, Getty Images Stream or Hider 2, which might be similar to Hide Images.
