The 0.5 version of IRControl for Mac was provided as a free download on our website. This free software for Mac OS X is a product of Aaron Proman. The application lies within System Tools, more precisely System Optimization.

IRControl is a combined MacOS X Preference Pane and faceless background application (FBA) to receive and send Infrared signals via the Iguana Works USB IR Transceiver. It can be used to receive signals from a typical IR Remote control (e.g. for a TV or VCR) and execute an arbitrary action (e.g. open a file, run an Applescript, type some characters).
You may want to check out more software for Mac, such as Dock Delight, Snow Checker or SBSystemPrefs, which might be similar to IRControl.
