Convert your problematic MKV files to MP4 easily. This tool utilizes existing tools to efficiently convert MKV files to MP4 without re-encoding the video. It only re-encodes the audio if necessary, and you can override this feature by specifying the audio codec. The resulting mp4 file will be compatible with Sony PS3, making it easy for you to enjoy your videos without any issues.

From the developer:
Uses existing tools to convert troublesome mkv files to mp4. The conversion does not re-encode the video and only re-encodes the audio if it doesn't use AAC codec (one can override this behaviour using --audio-codec). The resulting mp4 will be playable on the Sony PS3.
You may want to check out more Mac applications, such as VCode, MFilter or Aiseesoft WMV Converter for Mac, which might be similar to mkvtomp4.
