Description

A menu bar app that pastes text as plain text by default. It removes formatting (fonts, colors, bold, links, tables, etc.) from copied text while leaving unrelated content like files and images intact. It also ignores content copied from password managers. Additionally, users have the option to manually clear formatting if desired, instead of it being done automatically.

Pure Paste 1.14.4 for Mac could be downloaded from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. This free software for Mac OS X was originally produced by Sindre Sorhus. Pure Paste for Mac is categorized as Productivity Tools. According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software.

From the developer:

Pure Paste lets you paste as plain text by default. It sits in the menu bar and clears formatting (fonts, colors, bold, links, tables, etc.) from the text you copy. However, it does not touch unrelated content like files, images, etc. It also ignores content copied from password managers. You can also choose to manually clear formatting whenever needed instead of automatically.

You may want to check out more software for Mac, such as King James Pure Bible Search, Copy'em Paste Helper or Super Copy Paste, which might be similar to Pure Paste.
