The 5.8.1 version of QL Editor for Mac was available to download on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. The actual developer of this free Mac application is Yamaha.
According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software. The application lies within System Tools, more precisely Device Assistants.
From the developer:
QL Editor is a simple application that enables you to remotely control a Yamaha QL mixing console (such as QL5, or QL1; hereinafter collectively called “QL” in this document). This free program also enables you to save the parameter settings on your computer.
You may want to check out more Mac applications, such as Brother QL-710W Utility, Tex-Edit Plus or Plain Text Editor, which might be related to QL Editor.
