Stella 6.3 for Mac could be downloaded from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. Stella for Mac lies within Games, more precisely Arcade. This free Mac app was originally designed by net.sourceforge.
From the developer:
Stella is a multi-platform Atari 2600 VCS emulator released under the GNU General Public License (GPL). Stella was originally developed for Linux by Bradford W. Mott, however, since its original release several people have joined the development team to port Stella to other operating systems such as Mac OS X, AcornOS, AmigaOS, DOS, FreeBSD, IRIX, Linux, OS/2, and Unix.
You may want to check out more software for Mac, such as Stellar Speedup Mac, which might be similar to Stella.
