From the developer:
Tapes is a fully functional audio recorder/player for your mac. Yet, it behaves exactly like an analog tape deck that you had back in the old days. You will be happy to know that all the familiar features and buttons are replicated here:
• Rec, Play, FFwd, Rew, Stop, Pause and Eject
• Volume meter
• Play clock
• Dual speakers
• Realistic cassette tapes
You can also use Tapes to edit audio just like how you edit your analog tapes.
You may want to check out more software for Mac, such as LifeFlix MiniDV Importer, DVDpedia or VinylStudio, which might be similar to Tapes.
