Description

A Java widget designed to display hierarchical data in a hyperbolic style. The focus node is given more space, while parent and children nodes appear slightly smaller but still within the immediate visual context. This unique curvature allows for a visually engaging representation of tree structures.

From the developer:

Treebolic is a Java component (widget) whose purpose is to provide a hyperbolic rendering of hierarchical data. A tree is rendered with nodes and edges but display space is subject to a particular curvature (hence the name) : more space is allocated to the focus node while the parent and children, still in the immediate visual context, appear slightly smaller.

You may want to check out more software for Mac, such as sciatrope, Analytics to Earth or TreeView X, which might be similar to treebolic.
