From the developer:
Wing 101 is a very simple free Python IDE designed for teaching beginning programmers. It omits most features found in Wing Pro. It is an integrated development environment that was designed from the ground up for Python. Wing speeds up your development of new code, reveals errors earlier in the development process, makes it easier to find and fix bugs, and adapts to your needs and style.
