From the developer:
noTunes is a simple application that helps you control iTunes. All you need to do is launch the app and iTunes will no longer be able to launch. You can enable and respectively, disable the application's functionality with ease, via the menu bar icon.
You may want to check out more software for Mac, such as TransparentDock, Peek-a-Boo or DisplayConfigX, which might be similar to noTunes.
