Description

Downloading screenBloom 2.2 for Mac from the developer's website was possible when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. ScreenBloom for Mac lies within System Tools, more precisely Device Assistants. This free software for Mac OS X is a product of Tyler Kershner. According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software.

From the developer:

ScreenBloom is a free Mac application that grabs the average color of your screen and sends that value to connected Philips Hue lights. Each light adds another string of commands that the Hue bridge has to process before moving on to the next, so the fewer being addressed the more responsive ScreenBloom will be.

You may want to check out more Mac applications, such as iStar Composer, Matchprint Virtual or LightLid 35 Calibrator, which might be related to screenBloom.
