iPodBackup
Description
Download of iPodBackup 1.5.4 for Mac was available from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. The program is included in System Tools. The actual developer of this free software for Mac is Amake. According to the results of the Google Safe Browsing check, the developer's site is safe. Despite this, we recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus software.
From the developer:
iPodBackup is a shell script-turned-application (via Platypus) that backs up your home folder to your iPod using the open source backup utility rsync. Combine it with Do Something When to have fully automated incremental backups to your iPod, for free!
You can customize a list of items to be excluded by simply dragging-and-dropping them onto the app.
You may want to check out more Mac applications, such as SimpleSync, CarbonErrors or Titan4, which might be related to iPodBackup.
