A versatile route planner and road trip companion that helps you design the perfect road trip based on your preferences. Avoid bad weather, plan a scenic drive with minimal curves, or factor in elevation changes. The app also provides voice-guided, turn-by-turn directions to ensure you reach your destination safely. Plus, it automatically checks for severe weather along your route to keep you informed and prepared.
The 8.6.11 version of inRoute for Mac was available to download on the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. The actual developer of this free Mac application is Carob Apps. The application belongs to Lifestyle Tools. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus.
From the developer:
inRoute is a route and road trip planner that lets you plan optimal routes or chart your own course using weather, elevation, curves and more. Then, you can navigate safely with voice-guided, turn-by-turn directions that automatically check your route for severe weather.
You may want to check out more software for Mac, such as PolarView, FlightStatus or CompeGPS Land, which might be similar to inRoute.
