jMonkeyEngine
Description
jMonkeyEngine 3.5.0 for Mac could be downloaded from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus. This free Mac application was originally developed by jMonkeyEngine. JMonkeyEngine for Mac is included in Games.
From the developer:
It’s a free, open source game engine, made especially for Java game developers who want to create 3D games using modern technology. The software is programmed entirely in Java, intended for wide accessibility and quick deployment. It’s not a visual RPG Maker or an FPS modder. You’ll get the most out of the engine if you bring some programming aptitude to the table.
You may want to check out more software for Mac, such as zeroN64, which might be similar to jMonkeyEngine.
Add-on support
You can get add-ons that download files/video from arbitrary websites.
