From the developer:
AlignMaster is a program designed for a quick and precise alignment of goto mounts to the polar axis. It is much more easier than the manual Scheiner-method or the usage of Guidemaster. A camera is not needed, but an ocular with illuminated cross-hairs is helpful and will give a more precise alignment. In an emergency the cross-hairs of your spotting scope can be used (but this is not recommended unless your batteries are flat!).
You may want to check out more software, such as f x -Viewer, Trachtenberg Speed Math or SatCalc, which might be similar to Alignmaster.
