Control the radio using various programs simultaneously. Generate a file in the INI format describing the CAT commands of the radio to enable the functionality of a new rig model. The solution works with Kenwoods, FT-100D, FT-450, FT-747, FT-757, FT-817, FT-840, and other models.

Downloading Omni-Rig 2.1 from the developer's website was possible when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. The most popular versions among Omni-Rig users are 2.1, 1.9 and 1.7.

The program's installer files are generally known as OmniRig.exe or omnirig2.exe etc. We cannot guarantee that the program is safe to download as it will be downloaded from the developer's website. Before launching the program, check it with any free antivirus software. This free software is an intellectual property of Alex Shovkoplyas. The program belongs to System Utilities. This free PC program is compatible with Windows XP/XP Professional/Vista/7/8/10/11 environment, 32-bit version.

From the developer:

A COM component for transceiver/receiver CAT control.
Multi-threading: multiple programs, written by different authors in different languages, can control the radio via Omni-Rig at the same time; external rig description files: the support of a new rig model can be implemented just by creating an ini file that describes the CAT commands of the radio;

You may want to check out more software, such as Faros, which might be similar to Omni-Rig.
