System Cleaner serves to maintain a proper performance of your computer by removing obsolete or dangerous files from the hard disks.

Operating the software could not possibly be easier. On the left side of the program window, you choose the sections (and subsections) you would like to be checked. They are the following ones: System, Internet Explorer, Adobe ImageReady CS, Adobe Photoshop CS and WinRAR. Then you hit the Analyse button and get the results in the right window. If you wish to remove the files, just press the Clean button.

It should be pointed out that in our tests the program exhibited some major instability when analyzing Internet Explorer section and some of the items in System section. As soon as the task was set, System Cleaner did not proceed performing it; instead, it failed to react to any further commands and finally shut down.

Another downside of the program, as we see it, is that it does not display the result of an analysis in a detailed way. For instance, after the software has checked recent documents, it informs that there are 331 files to be deleted and their size is 194 Kb. There is no chance to view these files through the program or at least to see their names. Thus, you never know whether you want to remove the files or not.

Still, System Cleaner is free and does not take up much space on your PC, so it might be worth trying.
