Delicious Address Book is a contact management program with a variety of useful features. It is organized in a tree structure, with the opportunity to set up different folders like Friends, Work, Family etc where all needed information can be stored: a person’s address, phone numbers, e-mails, web-sites etc. The interface is made as usable as possible: clicking on the arrow beside the corresponding field you will be able to instantly send an e-mail to one of your contacts, access their web site or even make a phone call. Each folder or contact can be password protected, so that you needn’t worry about the sensitive information you store in your address book.
Each time you start the program, it will welcome you with a tip of the day (wise or humorous sayings by GB Shaw, Bill Gates, Albert Einstein, Walt Disney as well as some anonymous sayings). Interface language can be selected during installation or switched from the program menu and is available in English, German, Spanish and Russian. However, if you select a language other than English, tips of the day will come in English, anyway.
A built-in calendar with reminder function is a feature that will definitely appeal to business people.
Delicious Address Book strikes me as user-friendly software with lots of options that will surely make using the program highly enjoyable. The program developers did their best to make the address book as delicious as possible filling it with a bounty of useful features. The only drawback I could notice in the version I was using is that I couldn’t access the help file from the menu. The trial version of Delicious Address Book can be used freely for 30 days.
