RekenTest by 4x4 Software is a free interactive utility designed for practicing and testing various math skills. It can be used as educational software for children or as a math-practicing application for those who want to revise their arithmetical skills.
The program can be used for self-education as well as for practicing together as it offers a competition mode for two players. You can select the challenging level from the “easiest” to the “hardest” as well as the time and number of problems offered for a session. RekenTest offers six sections to practice with: whole numbers, tables, decimals, money, percentages and fractions. All these section in their turn are divided into various categories so you can choose a specific one that is of greatest interest to you.
For freeware RekenTest is a very nice application. It covers many mathematical fields and offers not only practice and test modes but also allows to play and compete in pairs which can be rather exciting for kids. The utility provides a rather well-designed and straightforward interface.
