How to delete your Instagram account

In this article, I will show you how to delete your Instagram account from a Windows PC. Here’s what you need to do:

Step 1

Launch your default web browser. Since Instagram doesn’t have a desktop client for its service, the only way to delete your account is by using your web browser.

Go to Instagram Help Center page.

Go to Managing Your Account and select the “Delete Your Account” option. Click the “How do I delete my account?” question to reveal the answer. In the step 1 paragraph, you will see a URL that will take you to page where you can delete the account.

Choose the reason why you want to get rid of your Instagram account. If you want to skip this step, simply select the “Something Else“ answer.

Reenter your account password, click the “Permanently delete my account” button and confirm your decision by selecting the “OK” option.
