Description
camelia 1.1 for Mac could be downloaded from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. The program lies within Education Tools, more precisely Teaching Tools.
We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus. This free Mac application was originally developed by Nathan Gaylinn. The following version: 1.1 is the most frequently downloaded one by the program users. The default filename for the application's installer is camelia-1.1-static.dmg.
From the developer:
Camelia started out as a tool to help students in Brown University's CS17 have an easier time making the leap from Scheme to OCaml. It's meant to make writing in OCaml relatively painless without having to learn the nuances of a powerful editor like Emacs or VI. That said, it's not meant to be just a teaching tool. It is a fairly powerful IDE that offers a nice alternative for OCaml programmers of all skill levels.
You may want to check out more Mac applications, such as eduMap, eimantai Exam or Rocky Shore Ecology AU, which might be similar to camelia.
