Forest Grow
Description
Stay focused and motivated. Select a tree and watch it grow while you stay away from your phone. This allows you to fully concentrate on your tasks. As a reward, virtual trees serve as a reminder of your phone-free accomplishments. Using other functions on your phone will lead to the tree perishing. The default growing time is 30 minutes, but you can extend it. Each tree keeps track of the time spent productively.
Forest Grow 1.2 for Mac was available to download from the developer's website when we last checked. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this app available. This free software for Mac OS X was originally developed by Instep Studio. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus. Forest Grow for Mac lies within Productivity Tools, more precisely Timekeeping.
From the developer:
Forest Grow is a motivation timer that helps you stay focused and be productive. You must choose a tree which will grow while you are staying away from your phone. Thus, you will feel free to focus totally on your current tasks and duties. As a reward for your patience, virtual trees will remind you of your "phone-free" time records.
While a tree is growing, you can't use other functions of the smartphone, otherwise the tree will perish.
