From the developer:
This sample demonstrates several implementations of custom menus, including a popup menu with a custom view, and a custom "suggestions" popup window that behaves like a popup menu and properly handles user interactions accordingly. This sample was written as part of Session 145, "Key Event Handling in Cocoa Applications", for WWDC 2010.
You may want to check out more software for Mac, such as ReaderApp, killdock or ListExport, which might be similar to CustomMenus.
