From the developer:
Monster Musician lets you play your music and get real-time feedback on your reading. The app is designed by pro musicians for musicians with custom method books, cool backing grooves and real-time feedback. The future of reading and playing music starts with a game.
You may want to check out more software for Mac, such as Monster Truck Hero HD, Heroes VS. The Monster: Battle in Autumn or Monster!, which might be similar to Monster Musician.
