Do you remember the time when you spent all your money your parents put on your cellphone for you to be within reach all the time, on what? On so attractive pics that would serve as phone wallpapers and on those catchy melodies and songs that sounded so familiar to everyone.
Nowadays, the mobile phone models allow to add there any melody you wish through PC connection. And still there are lots of 'download music' sites, where you are offered to download, surely not for free, popular ringtones for your cellphone. Musical TVchannels also try to make money on such a service till nowadays, and even considering the fact that new mobile models replaced the old ones long ago, which had no function to transfer music from your PC, still demand creates supply, so it means that there is still the audience ready to pay money for it.
The presence of this audience is also supported by the fact that very often you do not want the entire song in your mobile as a ringtone, as it occupies mobile memory that is usually little; moreover, you need exactly that catchy refrain, by means of which the song often becomes recognizable. To satisfy this need – there appeared loads of mp3-song editing software programs with the help of which you are be able to make your own ringtones.
MP3 cut is one of these programs on the market, moreover it is free. And it so easy to deal with. Just add your favorite mp3 song and choose the cutting mode: by length, where you indicate the exact time up to milliseconds of the starting and ending points of the song extract you need. Another cutting mode is: by size in Mb, and the last one is by count of equal length clips (from 2 to even 10000). You are also enabled to adjust encoder settings, like sampling frequency, channel mode and set a number of bits per seconds; or you can leave them, if you do not sense much in these details, as set by default and as 'recommended'.
There is a good help guide within the interface, but, to my mind, it is not necessary, as everything is as plain as day without it. The result was also quite satisfactory, I didn't notice any change in the song quality.
To sum it up - MP3 cut will satisfy you by quick and quality result. I recommend it and would rather use it to make some ringtones for my mobile phone.
