Zoolou is a simple software tool that magnifies part of the screen your mouse cursor points to. Actually, this virtual magnifier does not work as a real magnifying glass, as the latter magnifies the objects situated directly under it. Zoolou, instead, displays a magnified area in a separate rectangular window. That is why running the program in full screen mode is of little use, unless you work with multiple monitors.
However, the magnifier window can be resized and moved freely around your desktop. You can also adjust the zoom factor (from 2x to 10x), as well as the window transparency. A useful inclusion is an instant screenshot option accessible via a context menu or the Ctrl+C key combination.
Zoolou developers suggest it for use by people with visual impairment. We believe this free software can also be useful to people working with small sized graphics, like icon and interface designers, etc.
